Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the present study was to examine the interplay betweenacademic procrastination, self-esteem, state anxiety and self-efficacy of the 11 highschool who are getting prepared for the ÖSS ( University Entry Exam).Particapants were 400 students (220 female, 180 male) that were chosenrandomly. Academic Procrastination Behavior Scale ( APBS), Academic Self-Efficacy ( ASES), Coopersmith Self-Esteem Scale ( CSES), Spielberg State AnxietyInventory ( SSAI) was used.Pearson Moments Correlation, multiple regression analyze, F-test and Ttestwas used to analyze data. The signifiance level is determined to be 0.05.There were negatif relationship between academic procrastination and selfesteem.Self esteem was a predictor of academic procrastination. Also, no relationbetween academic procrastination with self-efficacy and state anxiety. State anxietyand self-efficacy were not significant predictors of academic procrastination. Malestudents more academic procrastinated than female students. Also, high academicprocrastinators and middle level procrastinators have more state anxiety than lowacademic procrastinators.Key words: procrastination, academic procrastination, self-esteem, state anxiety,self-efficacy.
