Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study; The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between academic performance perception and job stress. In this context; (a) whether academic performance perception differs according to demographic characteristics (b) whether job stress differs according to demographic characteristics (c) the relationship between academic performance perception and job stress is examined. In the study, Academic Performance Perception Scale was used to measure academicians' perception of performance and Job Stress Scale was used to measure stress level. 500 lecturers from Sakarya University and Sakarya University of Applied Sciences participated in the study. The relationship between the participants' own perceptions of academic performance and job stress was evaluated. According to the research findings; It was concluded that academic performance perception differs according to demographic characteristics. In addition, it was concluded that job stress differs according to demographic characteristics. It has been determined that there is a negative relationship between academic performance perception and job stress.
