Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between motivators and facilitators in leisure activities according to some demographic variables. The population of the research consists of 588 academic staff working at Bartın University in 2018-2019 academic year. The sample consists of 272 academic staff working at Bartin University. As a data collection tool, the personal information form, Kim et al. (2011), the Turkish adaptation of Leisure Facilitators Scale (LFS) was developed by Gurbrz, Oncu and Emir (2015) and the Occupational Motivation Scale for Academicians developed by Zeynel and Carıkcı (2014). Frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation, independent samples t-test, ANOVA (One Way Analysis of Variance) and Pearson correlation tests were used for data analysis. The scale's reliability coefficient was found to be .835 and it was concluded that the scale was highly reliable according to this value. The reliability coefficient of AYMMÖ was determined as .957 and it was concluded that the scale was highly reliable according to the value. As a result of findings of this research, according to gender in "personal facilitators" and "interpersonal facilitators" dimensions which are lower dimensions of Leisure Facilitators Scale" a significant difference has been found for women on the other hand in "structural facilitators" dimension there is a significant difference for men. In lower dimensions of Professional Motivation Scale for academic staff, in "management policies and applies" dimension a significant difference has been found for women participants. As a results of correlation analysis made for examine the relationship between the time working as an academic staff and lower dimensions of professional motivation scale, there is a significant and positive correlation between the time working as an academic staff and "physical conditions of workplace" dimension in a low level. According to results of ANOVA Test between effects of successes of participants in milestones of their careers to professional motivation and lower dimensions of professional motivation scale for academic staff, there is a significant difference in dimensions VIII "professional characteristics", "management policies and applies", "relationships in workplace" and "student". According to results of Tukey Test to find source of the difference, it is found that the difference in favor of the "yes, it increased" among the "yes, it increased" and "it is uneffective" situations. There is a significant difference in positive way has been found between leisure facilitators scale and professional motivation scale for academic staff. Consequently, it is found that there is a relationship between leisure facilitators and professional motivations of academic staff. Thus, as leisure facilitators factors and durations of academic staff increase, their professional motivation level also increases. Academic staff can stay away from factors like depression, failure, motivation loss, frazzle and energy loss by increasing amounts of leisure facilitators and joining its activities, therefore their motivation levels incrase and they can work more efficient. Keywords: Academic staff, leisure time facilitators, professional motivation
