Abstract (EN)

Universities are innovative constructions to develop students in artistic and cultural aspects. In addition, they are institutions which give technical and scientific education. They help new generations gain different point of views. It is considered that the feeling of satisfaction that academic staff have for their institution and their work will have an effect on their service quality. There are lots of noticeable reasons which lead to decreases in job performance. The purpose of this study is to find out the relationship between job satisfaction and job performance from the point of academic staff's perception and thoughts and also it aims to determine the demographic factors having influence on job satisfaction and job performance. The survey is applied on 195 academicians for this purpose. It was found out that there is a meaningful relationship between academic staff' job satisfaction and academic staff's performance. In addition to this, it was also determined that job satisfaction level differs based on academic title and job performance level changes based on job experience.
