Özet (EN)

Mediterranean Cereal cyst nematode Heterodera latipons (Franklin) is known as an important plant parasitic nematode found widely in wheat and barley production areas in the Mediterranean basin and causing economic losses. In this study, the reactions of some wheat and barley genotypes against the biotypes of H. latipons were investigated. The study was conducted in vivo conditions at the Mudurnu Süreyya Astarcı Vocational School in 2016-2018. In the study, the bio-types of H. latipons belonging to the Adana, Hatay, Kilis, Gaziantep and Mardin populations were determined using The International Test Assortment of Cereal Cultivars. In the study of nematode-variety, 22 wheat and 21 barley varieties were used. As a result of the study, it was found that H. latipons biotypes from the Ha1 bio-type group are similar to the Ha51 class from the Ha41 and Ha2 bio-type group, but are closer to the Ha41 class from the Ha1 bio-type group. This result is the first study to determine the bio-type of H. latipons in Turkey. In the finding of nematode type reaction, 8 wheat varieties (Adana 99, İzmir 85, Ziyabey98, Kaklıç 88, Alibey,Troya, Uludağ, Silverstar) and 4 barley varieties ( Hilal, Bayrak, Şahin-91, Altikat, Çetin-2000, Silverstar) were found to be resistant to the nematode population of Gaziantep-II.
