Abstract (EN)
Nowadays, our cities have become increasingly complex and difficult to experience. These problems make the lives of people difficult, waste of time and energy and distort the around of the city. The smart city system aims to scan and solve these problems in the best way and to develop a more livable city. Like all cities, Malatya should benefit from this technology and be a organized city. In this study, smart factors used for smart cities have been discussed and suggestions have been made to be applicable in Malatya. The aim of this thesis is to examine the smart city systems, the features required for a city to become a smart city, the equipment of these systems; showing the current situation of Malatya in the perspective of smart cities and suggest solutions to make it a smart city. Our objective is to make Malatya a place that is sensitive to global warming, easy to control with infrastructure and superstructure systems, open to technological tools and products, safer and more livable. The factors that cause global warming in a city, e.g. carbon emissions, insufficient green areas and gases emitted from the fuels burned for heating purposes and how they can be disposed of will be examined. Infrastructure and superstructure systems in developed cities will be examined and studies on how these systems can be applied to Malatya and how our systems will be more simple and more accessible will be presented. In the light of these studies, while adding a smart face to our city, the benefits of a city that open to technology will be examined. This study will also include saving measures and measures to reduce waste. For this aim, intelligent lighting system suggestions will be presented and a street lighting system prototype will be made to watch its efficiency. KEYWORDS: Smart cities, factors in smart cities, smart lighting, smart garbage collection.
