Changing and developing living conditions lead people to use technology in every field. Technology, which takes place in almost every area of life, also finds its place in the tourism sector and in the field of gastronomy, which is a sub-branch of the sector. In this context, the aim of the study is to evaluate the current situation of the use of smart systems on the basis of tourism 4.0 and gastronomy 4.0. In this context, first a general evaluation of the sector was made, and then the study was carried out with the views of the participants working in food and beverage businesses and in accessible food and beverage units of hotel businesses with a focus on gastronomy presentation. The theoretical part of the study has been expanded and strengthened with domestic and foreign literature. Qualitative analysis method was used in the study. Due to the limitations of the research, a total of 20 enterprises, 12 domestic and 8 abroad, which are thought to have the competence to represent the universe, were reached. With the interviews, it was aimed to evaluate the situation of technology use in the tourism sector, especially in the field of gastronomy, abroad and in our country. With the interview data obtained, the stage of technology use in the enterprises serving in the field of food and beverage in the tourism sector and the future possibilities were evaluated.
