Özet (EN)
In this study, the effect of polypyrrole primer coating on the corrosion of powder and acrylic paint coatings on the surface of Erdemir 6052, Erdemir 6044, Erdemir 6112 and Erdemir 3237 sheets was investigated. In addition to corrosion tests of coatings, mechanical strength tests such as thickness, impact resistance and Cross-cut test were also performed. Salt Spray test was applied to determine the corrosion resistance of coatings. Corrosion rate measurements were determined by Tafel Polarization method in 0.1 M NaCl media. The thickness of the acrylic paint coating is in the range of 40-60 microns, and the thickness of the powder coating is in the range of 50-70 microns. The thickness of the acrylic and powder coating coated with polypyrrole was found to be in the same ranges. In the impact strength test, a steel ball with a mass of 1lb was made by dropping it from a height of 100 cm onto the surface of the coated sheet metal. As a result of the test, there was no negative situation such as cracking, breakage or paint removal in the coating. In the adhesion test, powder coated samples showed more successful results than acrylic coated samples. Salt spray test results are determined for days 3, 8, 13, 20 and 44. The corrosion rates of the coatings for each sheet metal sheet and the primer polypyrrole coating made together with the coating were determined by Tafel Polarization method. The corrosion rates of Erdemir 3237, Erdemir 6044, Erdemir 6052 and Erdemir 6112 sheets were measured as 0.342, 0.146, 0.149 and 0.146 mm/year, respectively. After the coating with acrylic paint and powder paint, there was a decrease in the corrosion rates of metal sheets. Acrylic paint provided 76.5%, 72.6%, 73.3% and 91.5% protection in Erdemir 6052, Erdemir 6044, Erdemir 6112 and Erdemir 3237 sheets, respectively. In powder coating, coating efficiency was determined as 65.1%, 95.9%, 95.2% and 93.3% in metal sheets, respectively. Coating efficiency is further increased in both powder and acrylic coatings with polypyrrole primer. Polypyrrole coating, acrylic coated Erdemir 6052, Erdemir 6044, Erdemir 6112 and Erdemir 3237 sheets, respectively; While it provided 82.6%, 85.6%, 91.1% and 98.2% protection efficiency, it provided 96.6%, 97.3%, 99.3% and 98.2% protection for powder-coated ones.
