Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between emotional labor strategies and psychological counselors' burnout along with its dimensions was examined. The study was carried out with the participation of 294 psychological counselors in İstanbul. The data of the study were obtained using the Demographic Information Form, Emotional Labor Scale and Counselor Burnout Inventory. The findings of the study revealed that surface acting has a negative significant relationship with psychological counselor burnout and its dimensions. Findings also stated that the expression of naturally felt emotions has a significant negative relationship with psychological counselor burnout and its dimensions. There is also a significant positive relationship between deep acting and incopetence dimension of burnout. However, no significant relationship was found between deep acting and other dimensions of burnout.
