Özet (EN)

Norovirus is an important health problem all over the world, especially in developed and developing countries. Today, it is one of the important causes of adult and pediatric gastroenteritis. Decubitus is the most common cause of gastroenteritis. Noroviruses can be classified into five different genogroups that cause the majority of human infections up to GV, such as genogroup I (GI), genogroup II (GII). This study aimed was to investigate the incidence of norovirus in children with acute gastroenteritis under 5 years of age. In our study, norovirus antigen positivity was investigated by ELISA method (RIDASCREEN ® Norovirus (C1401) 3rd Generation, R-Biopharm, Germany) in a gaita sample taken from 192 children under the age of 5 with a diagnosis of acute gastroenteritis. According to the results of the study, 7.2% (14) of the 192 samples showed a positive result of the neurovirus antigen. According to the data obtained, it is thought that the prevalence value of norovirus GI / GII, which was determined as 7.2% in children with acute gastroenteritis, may contribute to epidemiological data in our country. In addition, in order to increase the epidemiological data in our country, more studies are needed on the factors of viral gastroenteritis with the reproduction of tests.
