Abstract (EN)

In this Ph.D. thesis, Al doped ZnO thin films (AZO) were grown on glass substrates by RF magnetron sputtering with the different growth parameters in order to find out the optimal configuration of the growth conditions. We have found the optimal growth parameters as follows; the Ar pressure is 1,85 mTorr, the substrate temperature greater than 300°C, the RF power 120 W, the film thickness ~200 nm, the distance between target-substrate 6 cm and the substrate holder rotation speed 5 rpm. The material produced with the optimal growth parameters is resulted in close optical and electrical properties in comparison to the commercial ITO material with low resistivity of around 0,4 mΩ-cm and high optical transparency of around 86%. Besides, good quality perovskite CH3NH3PbI3-xClx thin films were prepared by the combination of static and dynamic coating approaches from a single solution and highly efficient solar cells with a power conversion efficiency of around 15% were produced by these films. The perovskite solar cells prepared by dual coating approach have best efficiency and also best values of all the performance parameters. The best device has a power conversion efficiency of 14,68% from short-circuit to forward bias (SC-FB) and 15,32% for the vice-versa, respectively. Additionally, polymer light-emitting diodes (PLEDs) were fabricated with red, green and blue poly spiro-copolymer emitting layers. The EL spectra of the devices exhibited maximum EL emission wavelengths at 482, 519, and 625 nm and turn-on voltage of 2,9 V, 3,2 V and 4,2V, respectively. Perovskite solar cells and PLEDs were successfully fabricated on the optimized AZO anode electrode substrates by one-step spin coating. The results shown that RF sputtered AZO substrates are an ideal candidate as a transparent conductive electrode for the cost-effective technology of the perovskite solar cells and PLEDs.
