Abstract (EN)

Choosing a profession is a very important stage in a person's life. In this context, some reasons appear as a criterion such as working conditions, income level and social prestige of professions. However, regardless of the profession proference of the person, concepts that everyone should have basic knowledge of such as income, openditure, savings, investment. A study was conducted to determine the financial literacy level of members of attorneyship, medical doctor, pharmaceutics, architecture and engineering professions in Afyonkarahisar scale. Each 100 for lawyers, doctors, engineers and each 50 for pharmacists and architects, a total of 400 members of professions, were surveyed. Reliability analysis, Independent Sample T-Test which determines whether there is a significant difference and One Way Anova analysis were made together with descriptive statistics of the survey data. It has been concluded that the financial literacy level of the members of the professions is not at a sufficient level and it has been observed that the level of financial literacy differs between the professions.
