Following the floods that have occurred in our country in recent years, natural habitats have been affected. Due to reasons such as urbanization, unplanned construction, agriculture and opening of stream beds to construction, the hydrological natural balance is disrupted and flood risks are increasing. These floods cause serious damage to both the natural flow of water and settlements. Increasing flood incidence and climate change necessitate accurate flood forecasting and the implementation of necessary precautions. This necessitates the creation of flood risk maps, the development of early warning systems, and the development of natural-based solutions. Currently, many open-source and/or licensed programs are used for flood modeling. One of these is MIKE. This program contributes to our work in flood risk identification and analysis. The aim of this study is to prevent floods and inundations that may occur in the Hacet Stream, located in the central settlement area of the Alanya district, and to develop solutions to protect the basin's water resources. In this context, a hydrological model of the Hacet Stream was created, and flood maps and a hydrodynamic model were modeled using the MIKE program. Digital Elevation Model (DEM) data were used using the MIKE program, and flow rates with recurrence periods of 2, 5, 10, 25, 50, 100, 500, and 1,000 years from hydrograph data obtained by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works were used to create a hydrodynamic model and flood risk maps using the MIKE program to examine flood distributions. The aim is to reduce flood and inundation risks and protect the region's water management and natural resources.
