Domestic policy in the war of i̇ndependence, according to Alemdâr Newspaper (1919-1921)

Press has become the most important means to be constituned public opinion that is necessary for expectation and demands. From this point of view, National Struggle Press has featured in being enlightened of National Struggle and conveying milestones to general public. The purpose of "The Alemdâr Newspaper According to in the War of Independence Domestic Policy (1919-1921)" study is to inclusively reveal Independence War events afterwards Mondros Act and internal policy of National Struggle from the point of view of Alemdâr. For the study's purpose, "reasons of declining in Ottoman Empire", "how to save Ottoman Empire and what is the future of Turkish lands and nation" topics are discussed within the scope of the Alemdâr newspaper afterwards Mondros Act. Another issue highlighted in the study is how the attitude of the Palace and Istanbul Governments against the Resistance Movement which started in Anatolia and the initiatives against the national case were reflected in the Alemdâr newspaper. Also we endeavored to reveal the policies followed by the Liberty and the Entente and the Union and Progress parties during the National Struggle Period through the Alemdâr newspaper's perspective.
