Abstract (EN)

This study is intends to explain the relation between perceived organizational support and emotional labor behaviors (surface acting, genuine acting and deep acting) so an empirical study has been conducted on the employees of the five-star hotels. In order to serve this purpose, the questionnaire form was applied to 544 employees working at the five-star hotels operating in Afyonkarahisar. In the study, whether the opinions of the five-star hotels employees on perceived organizational support and emotional labor behaviors differs significantly according to individual attributes through independent samples t-test and one way anova have been tested. In addition to this, the relation between the opinions on perceived organizational support and emotional labor behaviors have been identified with correlation analysis. In the study, the participants stated that their perceived organizational support levels were above the middle level and that they tended to exhibit the deep acting among the emotional labor behaviors. In addition to this, it was found that there was a moderate significant relationship between perceived organizational support with genuine acting and deep acting, and a low level negative correlation with surface acting.
