The role of Aliyevs policy in the nagorno Karabakh victory and latest developments

In this thesis, it is tried to explain how the Aliyevs pursued their policy in the Karabakh Victory won by the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic after 30 years. It is aimed to explain how the victory was achieved by continuing his policy by his son Ilham Aliyev by giving superiority to Heydar Aliyev. In addition, the policy of the Aliyevs was analyzed within the framework of realism theory. A comparative design was used in the study. In collecting the data, first priority was given to the articles based on recent and up-to-date information. In addition, qualitative research method was used in the study. Descriptive and observation research method was used in qualitative research. In the content of the thesis, the Karabakh conflict that has been going on for many years and the realization of the lands that Azerbaijan has been trying to take back for 30 years in 2020 and the great share of the Balance Policy carried out by the Aliyevs in this situation in the Victory is explained. The 20% Karabakh region lost by the Azerbaijani State, whether the mistakes made or the efforts made by the Aliyevs to restrain Russia, the main actor in this problem, are discussed. In the thesis, the policies of the presidents of Azerbaijan since 1991 are compared rather than compared. The mistakes and efforts of the presidents in the Karabakh conflict are discussed.
