Abstract (EN)
With the rapid advancement of technology, the business world has undergone fundamental changes, impacting the field of human resources management. The most significant shift is the replacement of traditional recruitment methods with innovative approaches brought about by digitalization. For companies to remain competitive and successful, adapting to the digitalization process and utilizing digital tools and technologies accurately to maintain optimal efficiency is of paramount importance. In this regard, it has become essential for Human Resources Professionals to develop a roadmap for enhancing employees' "Digital Talent" – defined as the ability to effectively use digital technologies, work with digital tools, and be productive in digital environments – by offering training and development programs on digital technologies. Therefore, it is crucial for companies to identify, develop, invest in, and strategically manage digital talent to strengthen their competitive advantage and prepare for the future. Another important issue for companies and Human Resources Professionals is recruitment metrics and the processes brought about by their integration with digitalization. The main reason for this is to provide a data-driven approach to decision-making processes by measuring the quality of the candidate pool, the speed of recruitment processes, their costs, and the success of recruitment strategies. In this context, this study analyzes how recruitment processes are digitalized and how this process enables the measurement of recruitment metrics. In this study, recruitment metrics are addressed under five main headings: Time to Fill Metric, Quality of Hire Metric, Offer Acceptance Rate Metric, Number of Applicants Metric, and Cost per Hire Metric. The study encompasses interviews conducted with a total of 12 participants from 10 companies that have digitalized or are in the process of digitalizing their recruitment processes. Ultimately, this study presents a valuable perspective on the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment processes, including how the concept of digitalization is perceived within companies, the challenges employees face in adapting to digitalization, the differences between traditional and digital recruitment management, how recruitment processes are optimized, and the problems in implementing recruitment metrics.
