Language problem in Islamic religious education in Germany

The content of this study will address the problems of religious education in Germany. The problems of the students who are studying in the departments of Islamic Religious Education and Theology and their ideas about language should be discussed. At the same time, it will be emphasized the problems of these sections in the application forms in schools. Based on the information obtained, the results of these problems have been tried to obtain data. Interview method of qualitative research was used to reach the results of the research. On the current situation and problems of Islamic religious education, the students were asked questions about their undergraduate and graduate education in the Department of Islamic Religious Education and Theology at the University of Osnabrück. In the introduction, the aim, subject, importance, limits and method of the study are emphasized. In the first chapter, information is given about the history of Germany and Muslims, German education system, labor migration, mother tongue education, religious education in Europe and Germany. In the second part, information about the mosques and Muslim associations in Germany, Islamic religious education, religious education in schools and states in Germany, German Islam Conference and the departments of Islamic Religious Education and theology of universities in Germany are mentioned. In the third and last part of the study, opinions were taken in line with the conclusions of the results and results with the interview content.
