Shopping, as an act of trade, dates back through the ages. Commerce is not only a trade act, but also a social activity that takes place in daily life. Thanks to importance of commercial places in human life, new searches are being done to serve more needs. Visual effects has been one of these. Walls are one of the most extensive surfaces creating visual effect Their visual effect in space is as important as other functions like dividing, exhibiting etc. Material used on wall surface, directly effects the spatial impression. However, features and application methods should also be considered while making material choices, during design process. In this study, panels are searched as one of the main wall cladding materials in commercial spaces. Application methods are examined and visual effects are emphasized.
