Purpose: The study aimed to investigate the effects of Strength Studies on Lower and Upper Extremities on hormonal response. Material and Method: Nine volunteer men with a mean age of 21.88 ± 1.53 participated in the study. Biometric measurements of the volunteers were taken in the first week. Afterwards, the exercise phase was applied for 2 different strength exercises at 48 hour intervals. After 1 week break, 1 MT was determined. Afterwards, 3 different protocols were applied for upper and lower extremities with an interval of 10 days. In the 1st protocol: Squat, in the 2nd protocol: Biceps Curl, the strength exercises for the upper and lower limbs were performed in 12 sets of 4 sets. The combinations were applied as 4 sets of squat (2x12) and biceps curl (2x12) again. OMNI-Res scale was applied for the perceived difficulty level and VAS was applied for DOMS evaluation. CK, LDH, Testosterone, IGF-1 levels from the blood samples of the volunteers were analyzed 5 times, before, immediately after the protocol, 24 hours, 48 hours and 72 hours. Findings: In temporal changes from protocols; Significant differences were found in the 1st protocol in CK parameters (p <0.05). Significant differences were found in protocols 1 and 2 for LDH. There were significant differences in testosterone parameters in protocol 1 and 3 (p <0.05). There were significant differences in IGF-1 parameters in Protocol 1 and 2 (p <0.005). Comparison between protocols showed that CK values were higher than 1 protocol and 2 and 3 protocols (p <0.05). LDH values were higher than protocol 1 and protocol 3 (p <0.05). Testosterone values were higher in protocol 1 than in protocol 2 and 3 (p <0.05). Conclusion: Excessive muscle participation rate participating in the exercise may increase the CK concentration level. Exercises for the lower extremity can cause more CK elevation (24h). It can prolong the CK level (48h) in combination exercise. Mixed exercises can cause an increase in testosterone. It is thought that doing combined exercises for upper and lower extremities will strengthen the effects to be obtained in the practice of force exercises.
