Abstract (EN)

In this study, we investigated the Alunite are through ICP-OES. The obtained results showed that the ore consist of number of trace elements with different amount, some of are, 15ppm vanadium, 10ppm chrome, 5ppm manganese, 39ppm zinc, 54ppm germanium, 3ppm cobalt, 54ppm arsenic, 25ppm rubidium, 1247ppm titanium, 470ppm magnesium, 2ppm cadmium, 34ppm bismuth, 160ppm zirconium, 168ppm strontium, 20ppm thorium,61ppm mercury. Within this elements; the aluminium (%8,43), silicon (%15,46), sulfur (%8,32) and potassium (%3,32) are in higher amount comparing others. In order to provide validation, we also present XRF spectroscopy results for 6 elements, namely, silicon, sulfur, chlorine, calcium, titanium and potassium. The measured results are in agreement with the results obtained via ICP-OES. Key Words: Alunite Ore, ICP-OES Analysis, Trace Element, XRF Analysis.
