Abstract (EN)

Energy, which is one of the most basic needs of humanity, is becoming more and more needed with the use of comfort for the 21st century world. The decrease in fossil fuel reserves and the harm caused by fossil fuel use have increased the importance of turning to renewable energy sources. For this purpose, solar energy which one of the renewable energy sources, has become an important resource used to produce energy both in our country and in the world. In this study, firstly, the formation of solar energy and the transportation process to our world are mentioned theoretically and the importance of energy production is emphasized. By evaluating the solar radiation potential of our country, which of the photovoltaic plant installation models will be benefited in our country. The technologies that make up the photovoltaic plant are examined and information is given about the functions of these technologies while obtaining electrical energy from solar energy. The advantages and disadvantages of land type and floating type photovoltaic plants are emphasized by classifying photovoltaic plants according to their installation types. As an example of floating photovoltaic power generation facility, a solar plant with an installed power of 1 MWp and a fixed mounting structure was designed and the Yedikır Dam has been determined as installation location, which located on the Tersakan stream in the Suluova district of Amasya, with a water volume of 63 000 000 m³ and a surface area of 5,93 km2. With the technical design and analysis performed using PV * SOL software, which is an ideal simulation software for photovoltaic plant feasibility, the solar panel tilt angle, azimuth angle, horizontal-vertical positioning shape, crystal structure and inverter structure, which directly affect the efficiency of the plant, have been comparatively examined and Floating type photovoltaic plant was designed to obtain optimum efficiency according to location conditions. Photovoltaic plant constituting the hardware cost analysis was performed by creating products from domestic production, so there is a planned power plant will contribute to Turkey's economy.
