The sample group of this study consists of a total of 311 amateur football players in Balıkesir. Three separate scales were applied to collect data in the study. The first of these scales is the Sport-Specific Achievement Motivation Scale, which has three sub-dimensions, consisting of a Likert-type structure of 40 items and 7, developed by Willis (1982) and adapted to Turkish by Tiryaki and Gödelek (1997). The second tool is the Sporting Life Satisfaction Scale, which was adapted for sports by Mangan (2018) and translated into Turkish by Somoğlu and Cihan (2022), and has a 5-item and 7-point Likert-type structure. In addition, a Demographic Information Form prepared by the researcher was applied. The research data was collected online and analyzed using the SPSS software. There is a weak positive relationship between the participants' sports life satisfaction and the sub-dimensions of the sport-specific achievement motivation scale, the motivation to show strength, and a moderate positive relationship between the motivation to approach success and the motivation to avoid failure, and a weak positive relationship between the motivation to avoid failure. According to the research findings, it was concluded that the participants' sport-specific achievement motivation was effective in their sport-specific life satisfaction. In addition, an increase in sport-specific achievement motivation also increased their sport-specific life satisfaction.
