Review of American law based simple agreement for future equity under Turkish law

The need for a fast-paced, simple and low-cost solution for investors and start-ups to make investment deals has emerged in countries such as United States of America, where there are a lot of start-up investments and these investments are pursued professionally for revenue generation purposes. As an answer to this need, a generic agreement titled "Simple Agreement for Future Equity" ("SAFE") came into light. In this L.L.M. dissertation, SAFE which has a substantial place in US Law and is in the spotlight of investors and start-ups will be reviewed and it will be evaluated whether start-up investments may be granted through a similar agreement under Turkish Law.
