Abstract (EN)
This dissertation, which deals with American Protestant Fundamentalism, studies American Protestant Fundamentalism's historical background and process; fundamentals and basic tenets; exemplifies today's Fundamentalist churches and organisations. The aim of this study is revealing that the "Fundamentalism" term is not an Islamic originated notion that Islam is accused pejoratively by being Fundamentalist, but it is a Christian term that originates from American Protestantism. In first chapter, deals with historical process of Fundamentalism within Protestantism in USA as chronologically. In second chapter, identifies Fundamentalism's basic tenets, distinctive fundamentals and dispensationalist conception of history. In third chapter, examines fifteen of Fundamentalist churches and organisations which are existing in today's USA.
