"Ammâr b. Yâsir's Life and Role in Political Events" Ammâr b. Yâsir's life and struggle were handled in the earliest sources. In this study prepared by taking into account chronological order, Ammâr b. It is tried to reveal the reasons of Yâsir's attitudes especially in the 'Fitna period'. Our thesis consists of four chapters. In the first part; which is called Risalet; Ammâr b. Yâsir's ancestors and his Mecca and Medina period were handled. And also his adventure after becoming a Muslim and his close relationship with the Prophet was examined. In the second part; during the first three caliphs, Ammâr b. Yâsir's approach to the political events of the period, and the crystallization of being Ali's favour has been conveyed. In the third part; his active duty in the caliphate of Ali and his poverful support to Ali was tried to demonstrade. In the last part; Ammâr b. Yâsir's personality, what was said about him and political ideas was tried to analyze. Shortly after the death of the Prophet, Muslims had to fight with each other by falling into political dispute. This political disagreement continued to affect Muslims to the present, causing political separations and confiscations. It is aimed to find the reasons of this separation by examining Ammâr b.Yâsir's life who is one of the actors of this fist political struggle. Key Words: Ammâr b.
