Abstract (EN)

In this thesis, the geoformology of the coastal zone between Anadolu Feneri-Agva and how it has changed from past to present has been explained and the factors affecting this change are examined one by one. The thesis study area is in Anatolian side of İstanbul and covers the coastal areas of Şile and Beykoz districts. Within the scope of the study, the geological and geoformological features of the Black Sea coast of the Anatolian side of Istanbul were examined and the changes and developments that occurred are revealed. In this study area, it is observed that it contains formations belonging to different geological times and general view of the field is outlined. Previous studies related to the field have been compiled and analyzed and all this information has been brought together. Observations were also made on the study area, the latest geoformological formation and developments in the area as well as the effects of human geology on coastal geoformology were determined and the study was concluded.
