An analysis of selected sonatas included in the viyola art department at Anadolu University State Conservatory during the Undergraduate Program from an educational perspective

This thesis, titled "An Analysis of Sonatas Included in the Viola Art Department at Anadolu University State Conservatory during the Undergraduate Program from an Educational Perspective," investigates the use of selected sonatas to enhance the musical and technical skills of viola students. Sonatas provide opportunities for students to expand their musical understanding, explore different styles, and enhance their repertoire. Additionally, sonatas serve as significant tools for advancing technical skills and gaining a deeper understanding of instrumental technique. The thesis also examines the impact of various educational methods and approaches using sonatas as a framework. By analyzing different educational approaches employed during the performance and interpretation of sonatas, it aims to determine which methods and strategies are most effective. These analyses contribute to identifying the most efficient strategies that viola students can utilize to enhance their performance skills. The primary goal of this thesis is to contribute to viola education by offering strategies that assist students in developing their musical and technical abilities.
