Abstract (EN)
The subject of this thesis is ?Anatolian Carpet Patterns and Their Ceramic Variations?. The patterns of Anatolian rugs, and their meanings are briefly analyzed. These patterns are presented with similar ones from various other fine arts disciplines. Some patterns are chosen and reproduced in ceramics, in harmony with their original meanings, however employing a critical perspective.
