Abstract (EN)

Unconscious bias is the term used to describe the unintended and implicit prejudices which people have that frequently stem by a variety of social, cultural, and personal variables. These biases have an impact on people's perceptions, judgments and processes for making decisions without them being fully cognizant of. This abstract provides a thorough investigation of unconscious prejudice and its significant effects on hiring and managerial process. The investigation looks at many aspects of implicit prejudice in the larger context of hiring, from the original job posting through the actual hiring procedure. The evaluation emphasizes numerous phases in the selection procedure where unconscious bias might have a big impact. In addition, the study reviews recent findings and recommended methods for reducing the effects of unconscious bias in recruiting, standardized interviews and blind hiring methods.
