Abstract (EN)
Development of computers and mobile technology provides radiology education with new and advanced methods and materials. For many years radiology education is revolved around interactive, film-based, small group teaching, didactic lectures and informal tutorials during reporting sessions. However, supporting teaching materials that benefits from new technology, having the interactive features are developed rapidly. Mobil devices, because of their compact and mobile nature, is a valuable source of education material both to radiology specialists and radiology trainees. In this research, an interactive radiology teaching application on android device is developed that aims to increase the skills of classification of renal cysts according Bosniak Renal Cyst Classification In development phase of the application Java is used as programming language. Eclipse and Google Android SDK Tools used as integrated development envorinment and radiology images used in the application are supplied from Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Department of Radiology after necessary permits are obtained and images converted into Jpeg format. Additional user satisfaction survey is created and integrated into program as a web link to evaluate the user feedbacks.
