Abstract (EN)

Sewage sludge is a matter consists of solid and liquid mixtures which resulting from the treatment of water and wastewater. This substance must be rendered harmless by some preliminary and final treatment. Otherwise it can cause environmental damage. Otherwise, it could cause some environmental damages. The amount and characteristics of the mud produced in wastewater treatment plants depend on the composition of the wastewater. However, the type of wastewater treatment used and the disposal methods of the mud are very important. Sludges formed in treatment plants vary according to treatment type which used during wastewater treatment and character of wastewater of the region which wastewater treatment plant in. The treatment mud remaining after the domestic wastewater treatment is passed through various stages of purification, and the treatment and / or disposal takes place at this site. Sewage sludge remaining after the domestic wastewater treatment is passed through various stages of treatment and the sludge treatment and/or disposal is carried out by using these methods. The treated sludge, which has been passed through the purification stages and rendered harmless, is used as soil strengthening material (fertilizer etc.) as the final treatment site or subjected to incineration process. In the study, drying methods in the context of the final disposal of mud sourced from urban wastewater treatment plants have been examined in the context of urban wastewater treatment plants in Ankara. It will be the most appropriate solution to dry the sludge in the Ankara municipal sewage sludge in a hybrid structure that will provide uninterrupted power to both the solar radiation as well as the thermal energy sources (cogeneration and solar panels). The thermal welding can be provided from the existing cogeneration system. In addition, adding solar panels to the sludge drying system is an important alternative to improve the efficiency of the solar radiation sourced drying system.
