Ankara National Library the text of the poetry journals registered in 06 MİL YZ A 9581 and 06 HK 3844 and their classification according to the Systematic Classification Project (MESTAP)

Classical Turkish literature has a vast wealth of resources. One of the most important of these sources is undoubtedly poetry journals (magazines). Poetry magazines in are compilations in which texts and text fragments belonging to poets from diffirent periods are brought together regularly or irregularly. They are divided into diffirent types and forms according to the information they carry and their content. Some information, which has not been found in any source before, can be reached through poetry journals. In this respect, poetry journals are seen as an important source for Turkish culture and literature. When we look at the journals in general, it is seen that they are a source not only in the field of literature, but also in diffirent branches of science with their rich content. In our study, which consists of two parts, the transcripted text of the poetry journals registered in Ankara National Library 06 Mil Yz A 9581 and 06 Hk 3844 and their classification according to the Systematic Classification of Journals Project (MESTAP), as well as the verse forms of the poems, verse units, poets and the place of the centuries in which the poets lived, tables are included. In the poetry journal numbered 06 Mil Yz A 9581 mostly XVI. while it is seen that the poems of the poets who lived in the century are dominant, in the magazine numbered 06 Hk 3844, the XIX. it is seen that the poems of the poets who lived in the century are many. Some of the poems of the poets who have poems in the journal and who have a divan are not in their divans although they are included in the journal. There are poets such as Durdu Dede and Vehmi, whose names have not been found in any source before, in the journal registered at 3844. İt is seen that the poems of poets whose names are freguently mentioned in our literature are included in both journals.
