19th century in Turkish ornamentation art and the analysis of grup handwriting manuscript found in Ankara National Libreary in terms of Turkish ornamentation art

In this study, 06. MK. Yz. B. 535, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 5146, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 1486, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 6572, 06. Hk. 4315, 06. Hk. 4793, 06. Hk. 4896, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 6573, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 7231, 06. Mil. Yz. A. 6876, invantory numbered Qurans found in the Ankara National Libreary were examined in terms of ormentation. Choosen Qurans have importance acoording to their era. The thesis includes four chapters: The first chapter consists of that are the important sources of our cultural history and the information about Quran glamorisation İn the second chapter, the definition and historical development of Turkish ornamentation art and its usage areas are included. The third chapter focuses on the factors that are influential on the emergence of Turkish ornamentation art in Westernization period and also the features of 19th century Turkish ornamentation art. The fourth chapter includes the definition and the brief history of Ankara National Libreary and analysis of several Qurans found in the library. Quran in the study, was analysed according to pattern color, motive and binder properties within their own periods. Keywords: National Library, Manuscript, Calligraphy, Illumination, Binding.
