Özet (EN)

The aim of this study is to examine the level of mothers' anxiety and the effect of marital satisfaction and self-perception on the parental role of some sociodemographic characteristics. The sample of the research consists of two private schools mothers belonging to the province of Seyhan in Adana. Survey data were obtained using self-perception of parental role scale, trait anxiety scale, marital life scale and demographic information form. As a result of the research, there was no relationship between marital satisfaction with respect to self-perception of parental role, it has been found that there is a positive relationship between the state of trait anxiety and the self-perception of parents about parenting. The self-perception scale and some sub-dimensions of the parental role were affected by some sociodemographic variables. They are also among the levels of satisfaction anxiety they receive from the parenting role of mothers and the study findings in which no sociodemographic variables examined are affected.
