Abstract (EN)
In this study, the relationship between mothers' psychological resilience levels and preschool children's anxiety and attachment statuses was examined. The study group consisted of 97 children aged 5–6 who were enrolled in preschool education in 2024 and their mothers. The data collection tools included the Adult Resilience Scale (ARS), the Preschool Anxiety Scale, and the Incomplete Doll Family Stories Test. According to the findings, girls scored higher than boys on the attachment measure derived from the Incomplete Doll Family Stories Test. Furthermore, mothers with only one child had significantly higher scores on the individual resources subscale of the resilience measure compared to mothers with three or four children. When evaluated in terms of educational level, mothers with a university degree had significantly higher psychological resilience scores on the individual resources subscale than those with a middle school education. In addition, the total resilience scores of employed mothers were found to be higher than those of unemployed mothers. These findings were discussed in light of the relevant literature.
