Entrepreneurship of the concept of motherhood in the historical process

Abstract (EN)

"Mother Entrepreneurship", which is a newtype of identity-oriented entrepreneurship that minimizes the problems in front of women being a working mother and paves the way for them to be both a good mother and a working life, has started to take place in the literature in the world and Turkey in recent years. It has different characteristics from main stream entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurship. It is thought thatt his study, which is evaluated, from the perspective of a woman worker in terms of women's studies and management science, will contribute to the literature due to its application sample. In the first part of this study, the concept of motherhood is defined in different disciplines, its sociological evaluation and study in the historical process. In the second part, the literature on entrepreneurship, women's entrepreneurship and mother entrepreneurship were reviewed and their importance, motivations and problems encountered were examined. According to the results obtained, mothers have become entrepreneurs for many reasons, the first of which is the motivation of "good motherhood". Entrepreneurial mothers have experienced personal problems, work-related problems, and environmental problems. Despite all these problems, entrepreneurial mothers stated that they were very happy with their entrepreneurial activity and advised other mothers to become entrepreneurs.
