Abstract (EN)
This research aims to examine the relationship between life satisfaction and recreational benefit levels of individuals operating for recreational purposes in the field of sports. In addition to the main purpose, life satisfaction and recreation benefit levels of individuals who do sports for recreational purposes were examined according to gender, education level, age, income level and marital status variables. In the study, out of a total of 410 participants who do recreational sports in Antalya, 123 were female and 287 were male as the sample group. "Demographic Information Form", "Life Satisfaction Scale" and "Recreation Benefit Scale" were used as data collection tools in the research. Methods such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way analysis of variance (One Way Anova) and Pearson Correlation analysis were applied to analyze the data. The results revealed that the scores obtained from the life satisfaction scale and the recreation benefit scale differed significantly according to gender variable, income level variable and marital status variable. In addition, another analysis result revealed that there is a positive, low-level significant relationship between life satisfaction and age. The result of the Pearson correlation analysis conducted for the main problem of the research revealed that there is a positive, low-level significant relationship between the life satisfaction levels of individuals who do sports for recreational purposes and their recreation benefit levels.
