Human Computer Interaction is one of the most important subjects today in every aspect of our daily lives. Human Computer Interaction has evolved immensely in late 20 years. Today it is not the only option to use keyboard and mouse, there are very specific ways of interactions based on field of researches.Brain computer interface is an important research area which aims voluntary communication between human and computers using solely thoughts, this is possible by processing electroencephalography data.In this research, firstly we described some of our works on real-time video based interaction systems. In these works, a user can achieve interaction by using a webcam and as a result auditory and visual feedbacks are created. In brain computer interface part of the project we worked mostly on P300 waves. We decided to create an interface with both auditory and visual feedback to see if auditory stimuli can also be used in a brain computer interface. Classification of P300 data is based on wavelet decomposition and comparing root mean squares of certain values that describe P300 potentials. Then we discussed results of auditory and visual stimuli and compare the results toward an auditory. Finally, being able to classify event related potentials using offline processing methods on the electroencephalography data, we approached to the question of a brain computer interface which can be used on line, and give a detailed explanation of our system that allows recording and processing of electroencephalography data and also interpreting results to the user.
