Abstract (EN)

In this study, The development process of the Alphabet Revolution which took place in the first years of the Republic and efforts of Atatürk about to create well trained community have been examined. The subjects meeting with Latin alphabet of Sinop community when Atatürk arrived to Sinop in 15 September 1928 have been detailed worked. In first chapter; it have been examined according to Atatürk, the reasons for the alphabet revolution and his ideas and studies of Atatürk about the revolution. In second chapter; it have been emphasized the Language Council established on the way to carrying out the alphabet revolution, Atatürk's speech in Saray burnu and law 1353 for the application of letters. In third chapter; it has been assessment based on many important resources, Atatürk's arrival in Sinop and meeting with Sinop community of new alphabet.
