Abstract (EN)
This study deals with the social and economic effects of the Syrian refugee crisis, which occurred after the Arab Spring, on Turkey. The study tried to determine the social and economic impact of Turkey's Syrian refugee crisis on Turkey. Within the scope of this purpose, first of all, the beginning of the Arab Spring process, its causes, its effects, the effects of regional and global actors on the process were examined. Then, the political situation of Syria before the Arab Spring, the crises after the Arab Spring, the migration movement from Syria to Turkey were examined. Later in the study, the relations between Turkey and Syria before and after the Arab Spring were examined. The general situation of Syrian refugees in Turkey, information on temporary shelter centers and finally the economic, social, political and security effects of Syrian refugees on Turkey were examined.
