Abstract (EN)

The process, started in December 2010 in Tunisia had domino effect on the Middle Eastern countries suffering same chronicle problems, has been commonly named as 'Arab Spring'. There is no doubt that Gulf region took its part from the devastating outcomes of the Arab Spring surrounded Middle East. This thesis is dedicated to focus on Gulf State Bahrain, which is one of the mostly affected states by the consequences of the Arab Spring. Its importance not only depends on to be the strategic military base for global powers such as United States and Great Britain but also depends on being one of the pitches for vital struggle between the region's powerful countries Iran and Saudi Arabia. The main goal of this thesis is to scrutinize the political attitudes of two regional rivals Iran and Saudi Arabia during the Arab Spring by considering the past and the roots of riots happened before the Arab Spring in Bahrain.
