Abstract (EN)
It has been a region of constant conflict and crisis for the states and societies that have lived on the Middle East. These crises and conflicts have not come to an end, and their effects come from thousands of years to today. The developments after World War I and the post-wars period indicate that the historical cycle continues. Political instability in the Middle East and regional and global reflections caused by this instability require a deep perspective. With the end of the Cold War, during this period, also called the New World Order or Globalization, countries often clashed their struggles with each other in line with their past experiences. Thus, the emergence of the Arab Spring can be based on the reflection of the historical heritage that spread to states and peoples. The main objective of this study was to investigate the effects of the Arab Spring, on Turkey Syrian relations.
