Abstract (EN)

This research on 'Sentential Adjectives in Arabic Language and Their Uses in the Holy Qur'an' consists of an introduction, two main chapters and a conclusion. In this study, the use of sentence adjectives in Arabic language and the Qur'an is analyzed in terms of syntax and semantics. In the introductory chapter, the reason for choosing the research topic, the problem aspect of the research topic, the methodology followed in the research and the sources utilized were mentioned. In the second chapter, under the title of 'Adjectives in Arabic Language', the concept and definition of adjective, the purposes of adjective, the conditions of adjective, the agent of adjective, the relationship between adjective and mawsūf, real adjective and causal adjective were discussed. In addition, in this section, within the scope of 'Sentence Adjectives in Arabic Language', topics such as sentence adjective and its conditions, shibh-i sentence adjective and its conditions, the order of sentence adjective, hazif in sentence adjective-mawsūf, iʿrāb of sentence adjective were discussed. In the third chapter, under the title 'Sentential Adjectives in the Qur'an and their Analysis', the topics of the adjective in the form of a sentence and the adjective in the form of a shibh-i sentence were analyzed in the light of the relevant verses from the Qur'an and the statistics of the sentence adjectives in the Qur'an were given. In the concluding chapter of this study, which was prepared on the basis of the opinions of classical and modern Arabic sources, the data obtained in the field of Arabic language and the Qur'an were evaluated.
