Evaluation of socio-economic conditions with change in land uses: Şebi̇nkarahi̇sar example

Within the contexts of this study, forest' s land cover using, growth stages and crown closure observed locally and periyodically using forest management plans belong to 1987 and 2013, Şebinkarahisar Forest Administration, Şebinkarahisar Forest Regional Directorate. In order to inventigate these changes; land cover using, growth stages and crown cloruses map are used that produced from maps. Also, with appointed zones around the settlement, the changing of land cover using related to time is observed and interrelated to decreasing rapid population. The total area of Şebinkarahisar Forest Administration is 84044.3 ha. According to management plan of 1987 datas; degraded high forest 10,7% productive high forest 5.68%, grazing land 16.2%, forest soil 9.38%, 1.27% settlement, 2% landslide area, 4.25% rocky area, 50.3% agriculture area and 0.002% watery area. According to management plan of 2013 datas; 84044.3 ha area's 10,7% degrade high forest, 10,9% productive high forest, 0.04% special forest, 1.13% settlement area, 51.7% forest soil, 0.1% watery area, 1.06% rocky area, 0.02% service area, 24.4% agriculture area. According to these datas, in 1987 forest area was 4775 hectares but in 2013 it is 9131,1 hectares. That 's means double to forest area. The cause of this huge increasing are, succesful forestation,reproduction and decresing social pressure on the forest. Population of this areas in 1990 was 22518 and in 2013 it is 9811. The effect of with appointed zones around settlement and population decreasing on the forest are observed. As a result, at the study area, with locally data base; forest resource of Şebinkarahisar Forest Administrationand other land using changing related to time between 1987-2013 determined. With social pressure and regular forestry activities, structure of forest resources and land cover using are changed enourmously.
