Traces of ancient Turkish beliefs in the example of Damal district of Ardahan region

Our study consists of an introduction and three parts. In the introduction part, the subject, limits, purpose, importance and method of our research are discussed. In the first part of our thesis, information was given about the history, economy and social aspects of Damal in order to introduce our research field. In the second part, the Turkmen culture in Damal is presented within the framework of belief elements. In the third chapter, it has tried to be presented with examples of the living heritage of old Turkish beliefs in the Damal region in a comparative way. In the general evaluation and conclusion part of the thesis, the findings we have obtained are evaluated in general terms.
