Abstract (EN)
Aripiprazole is the first member of new generation atypical antipsychotic group. The use of aripiprazole for standard care of schizophrenia and similar disorders are quite common. The purpose of this study is to develop a new, simple and sensitive method for the analysis of aripiprazole and to show its applicability to pharmaceutical tablets. Aripiprazole and diflunisal were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography with photo diode array detector. A Supelco (USA) brand Fused-Core Ascentis ® Express C18 column, which has a size of 10 cm x 4.6 mm and contains 2.7 µm particle sized dimensions, was used for analyses. Analytes were analyzed using a mobile phase containing MeOH:Buffer (0.1% formic acid, 0.2% ammonium acetate) (60:40, v/v), at a wavelength of 255 nm for 15 minutes. The developed method was performed to pharmaceutical tablets successfully. As a result, its applicability to aripiprazole?s routine quality control analyses was shown.
