Abstract (EN)

As required by Aristotle's method, the first book of Physics covers the most general topics. His explanation that it is necessary to grasp the principles, causes and basic elements in order to know also encompasses subjects such as the first matter, formation-decay, possibility-possible, matter-form and four causes. In Sharhu's Sima, which is the first book of commentary by Ibn Bâcce, it is seen that the concepts of 'art' and 'theoretical' stand out in order to know. Ibn Bâcce differs from Aristotle, which he followed in many subjects, about the physics-metaphysics distinction in the first book. While metaphysics is at the forefront in Aristotle's statements, physics is more ahaed in Ibn Bâcce's statements.
