Abstract (EN)

Elements of cultural heritage that are part of the collective knowledge and history are extremely important for people to understand their ethnic and religious identities and gain a place in society. The idea of protecting these elements originated in the 19th century and is being achieved today through the work and agreements of international institutions and organisations in order to pass them on to future generations. Despite the intensive efforts in the field of protection, the damage caused by threats to the elements of cultural heritage cannot be completely prevented. In proportion to the size of the risk factors, the complete destruction of entire cultural heritage is possible. Today's technologies and digital documentation methods offer important solutions to minimise the consequences of this damage. These solutions have been investigated in detail in the dissertation. The studies of the CyArk company, which carries out exemplary projects in this field, are presented in detail and the important points of the solutions in terms of implementation and operation are discussed exhaustively. With a focus on archaeology and museology, the impact on research and exhibition through the use of digital artefacts resulting from the applied documentation methods will be discussed in detail. In discussing these effects, the exhibition planning and the experiences of visitors were also taken into account. Keywords: Archaeology, CyArk, Photogrammetry, LIDAR, exhibition, museology
