Abstract (EN)

In this study, the opinions of sixth grade students of AR activities on the academic achievement, AR attitudes and AR activities in the "Systems in Our Body" unit of the Science course were included. The research was carried out with a total of 60 students, 28 girls and 32 boys, studying in the sixth grade of a state boarding secondary school in the Patnos district of Ağrı province in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year. While determining the study group in the research, it was selected from two different branches by using the easily accessible sampling method. The research lasted for a total of five weeks according to the plan in the Science curriculum. The "Systems in Our Body Achievement Test" was applied to the control and experimental groups as a pre-test and post-test. While the activities prepared with our Body 4D, AR Anotomy 4D, Asthi AR and Body cards AG applications were applied to the students in the experimental group of the research, the current teacher-centered teaching method was used in the control group. The "AR Attitude Scale" was applied to the students in the experimental group as a pre-test and post-test. The data obtained from the quantitative part of the study were analyzed with SPSS 22.0 (Statistical Package for the Social Science). As a result of the research, it was determined that the activities prepared with AR had a positive effect on the course success and attitudes of the students. As a result of the interviews with the students in the qualitative part of the research, it was concluded that the students wanted the activities made with AR to be adapted to every lesson, they enjoyed 3D learning, and they wanted AR technology to be included in the textbooks. With this result, it has been suggested that AR activities should be integrated more into in-class activities, in textbooks, in short, into education.
